Striking fast and hard is what UFC is all about. If you want to try and deliver a knockout blow to a bookmaker without delay, here are our 10 best betting sites to focus on:
We’ve now listed ten nominees for the title of best UFC betting site in the UK. Now it is time to climb into the cage ourselves and get to know our top picks a little bit better.
There’s probably no doubt that you have heard of bet365. This site makes headlines every year when founder and CEO Denise Coates’ salary is published. In terms of general sports betting, bet365 are the number one in the UK, and are particularly popular when it comes to football betting sites … but we’re here to talk about UFC and MMA betting options, not the round ball game. So, why have we picked bet365 as our number one choice?
Quite simply, bet365 offers more UFC and MMA betting options than any other UFC betting site in the UK. If you want to bet on the winner of a UFC bout then any site on our list is fine, but if you want to get into more betting options, such as the method of victory, the number of rounds (over/under) and handicap betting, then bet365 offers it all. They are the creme de la creme of UFC betting sites in the UK, in our opinion at least.

We’re conscious that the majority of sports bettors now prefer to use their mobile devices for placing their bets, and that no doubt includes people wishing to bet on the UFC. 888sport have always been at the forefront of mobile apps for sports betting, and we can, without hesitation, recommend the 888sports betting app for placing your UFC bets via a phone or tablet.
888 are the complete gambling package having casino, poker and bingo sites and apps too, and for them, the emphasis has always been on mobile apps. The 888sport mobile app is, in our opinion, the best. It’s ideal for placing your UFC bets using your chosen mobile device. Just a few stabs of a finger and your bet is placed! One neat touch 888sport provides – head to their ‘popular bets’ sections for UFC to see what everyone else is betting on!

10bet is a true international brand that’s been in the UK since 2015 with its own UK domain and valid UKGC licence. It’s also a site that should be more popular than it is – or at least that’s what we think. It has a clean and clear interface and is exceptionally good for live betting, as the site updates itself every ten seconds or so to make sure you stay ahead of the game for live events.
In terms of MMA and UFC betting, 10bet has more than enough to make it onto our top ten list … albeit we would like to see more. All UFC bouts are covered and your main betting options are picking out the winner of the match, and betting on how many total rounds a bout will last (over/under 2.5 for non-title bouts, over/under 3.5 for title bouts). You can also bet on UFC matchups up to six or so weeks in advance.

What with Paddy Power’s controversial nature, you’d think MMA and UFC betting would be right up their street. Indeed, we are surprised they’ve never engaged the services of Conor McGregor as a Paddy Power brand ambassador. These are of course, two of Ireland’s finest exports. Despite this, Paddy Power have always embraced the UFC, and for a while, each UFC Fight Night generated its own ‘tips and opinions’ page on the site.
Sadly, MMA and UFC both seem to have slipped in importance at Paddy Power over the past couple of years, and most bouts have little more when it comes to options than picking the winner. Paddy Power though does offer a range of MMA and UFC specials, and if you ever fancy your own UFC bet you can tweet Paddy on Twitter/X using the handle @AskPaddyPower or hashtag #WhatOddsPaddy.

Coral is the longest-running name on our best UFC betting sites list, having been established as long ago as 1926, and in recent years among the best horse racing betting sites. There is nothing old-fashioned about its UFC and MMA offerings though and if you prefer live betting to pre-event betting, then this is the place for you. Coral has one of the best live betting interfaces available anywhere, with constant rolling updates that make sure you stay in touch with the latest state of play at all times.
All UFC bouts in the immediate future are available at Coral. Sadly though, like most sports betting sites we found there’s a disappointing lack of overall markets per event available. The options at Coral don’t come close to what we found at bet365, although we did find one interesting special – you can bet on top fighters such as Arnold Allen, Jack Shore and Molly McCann to win a full UFC World Title before the end of the year.

We have given you our list of the best online betting UFC and MMA sites, but you may be wondering how we have come up with our choices. What separates the leading UFC and best MMA betting sites from those that have not made the cut? Here, we dive a little deeper into what we expect to see if we feel a site deserves a place on our top ten UFC online bookies list. And if you want more details about our assessment process, feel free to take a look at How We Rate Bookmakers.
As we have just explained, bespoke UFC online betting offers are a complete rarity in this day and age. We though have outlined below the sign-up offers at our top three UFC betting sites which can be used on UFC and MMA bouts once you have completed your sign-up.
Deposit a minimum of £10 once you have opened an account at Bet365 and you will be eligible for £30 in free bets which can be used on UFC and/or MMA events. You must make your deposit using a debit card and place a qualifying bet within 30 days of signing up, and your bet must have at least one selection of odds of 1/5 (1.20) or greater. Your free bets will then be released to you and can be used with very few restrictions. Free bet stakes are not returned as a part of a successful bet, only any winnings.
Register at 888sport and then log in and make your first deposit using a debit card and the promo code ‘30FXS’ to gain up to £30 in free bets. Your qualifying deposit and bet must be for at least £10 and have minimum odds of 1/2 (1.50) and be made within seven days of registration. You will then receive £30 in free bets which can be used on UFC and/or MMA events. Free bet stakes are not returned as part of a winning bet.
Register a new account at 10bet then deposit a minimum of £10 (not using Skrill or Neteller) using the bonus code ‘PLAY10’ to receive a 50 per cent matched bonus up to a maximum of £50. Once you have made your deposit and gained your bonus, you must wager the deposit and bonus a minimum of eight times within 60 days to release any winnings made from your bonus. Only singles with min. odds of 4/5 (1.80) and multis with min. odds of 2/5 (1.40) count towards bonus redemption.
Unlike other sports, mixed martial arts does not have a regular calendar at the professional level – at least unlike football which has the annual EPL, FA Cup, UCL and so on. MMA and UFC events in particular do happen regularly, though, and below we will talk you through what you need to be looking out for when you want to bet on fights in the MMA cage.
The most popular competitions for online UFC betting are UFC main events. With every UFC Fight Night, one fight in particular will be selected at the main event – the biggest fight on the card. For example, the first UFC main event for 2024 at UFC 298 was the featherweight title fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Islam Makhanchev. For UFC 299 it was the bantamweight title bout between Sean O’Malley and Marlon Vera. The UFC main event is always a title bout and the leading fight on the evening’s card.
The first UFC fight night took place at the McNichols Sports Arena in Denver, Colorado on November 12th, 1993. The UFC’s 300th fight night is scheduled to take place on the 13th of April, 2024. A fight night will consist of several separate bouts, over a different range of weights. The number of bouts depends on the event, but between ten and a dozen are normally scheduled, with both men’s and women’s MMA events on the card. Fight nights usually take place once or twice a month, and are seen as the cream of the MMA fighting calendar. The events draw in crowds close to 20,000 people (depending on the size of the arena), with millions more watching all over the globe thanks to TV coverage and UFC streaming.
While the UFC tends to dominate pro MMA competitions, other popular options exist. KSW (Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki – Polish for ‘Martial Arts Confrontation’) is a European MMA promotion company, founded in 2004. It is also one of the most popular non-UFC MMA tours in the world. Fight nights almost always take place in Poland (with the odd bout in Czechia) and occur once per month. The leading non-UFC fighters battle it out over several weights on KSW fight nights, with the KSW title bouts being the most attractive bouts on the card.
A second, premium alternative to the UFC behemoth is Okatagon MMA. It is another European tournament, based in northern Italy and has been running since 1996. Unlike KSW, Oktagon is a truly European competition and fight nights have even been held in the UK. Fight night events tend to take place once per month and feature the leading non-UFC European fighters. Some Oktagon events are even broadcast live on Channel 4 in the UK.
When it comes to UFC betting online, you may think the only betting option available to you is a bet on the winner of a bout. It will interest you to know that there is plenty more to bet on than which fighter is likely to walk out of the cage in better shape! Here we take a look at the other options you have when you want to bet on UFC match-ups.
The UFC runs over several divisions, from Heavyweight to Strawweight and includes two women’s divisions at Bantamweight and Flyweight. You can predict who will be the next winner at any division when the next title bout is scheduled to take place. Check the UFC calendar to see which weight titles will be decided next.
As we have already explained, a UFC Fight Night consists of (usually) between ten and a dozen separate bouts, both title bouts and preliminaries where potential champions do battle to prove their worth and consideration for a future title bout. You can of course bet on the winner of any UFC fight on any UFC Fight Night’s card.
As well as betting on the winner of any UFC or MMA bout, you can also bet on how that victory is likely to be achieved. These are usually split into three possibilities – knockout (including technical knockout), submission (one fighter gives up) or decision (the fight goes the distance and the judges decide who has won). Choose the fighter and your predicted method of victory.
This is a simple bet that can be placed on any MMA bout or UFC live betting situation, for example. If you think two fighters are closely matched, then the fight may not be settled by a knockout or submission, but by a judges’ decision. As there are only three rounds of five minutes in a UFC bout, many fights ‘go the distance’ when compared to other combat sports such as boxing. You can bet on whether a fight will go the distance or not.
Simply betting on which fighter who you think will win a UFC or MMA bout will not afford you too generous odds. You can, however, improve the odds if you add in which round you think the fight will end in. If there’s a bit of a mismatch between the two competitors, then you could plump for the favourite to win in the first round, for example.
Fights that go the distance are scored by a panel of three judges. Depending on the type of bout, judges typically have either 95 or 57 points overall to award the fighters. Most scores are very tight, with usually less than five points separating the victor from the losing. With handicap betting you can wager on who comes out on top with a handicap applied. Usual handicaps are +/-0.5 or +/-1.5, but you can apply other handicaps where available.
This bet on UFC or MMA bouts is a prediction of how long a fight will last on an over/under basis. The most common over/unders are over/under 1.5 and over/under 2.5. With this bet you are betting on how many rounds you think a fight will last, no matter who wins. You can combine this with a win wager if you want to increase your odds if you feel one fighter will definitely emerge victorious.
Live betting on UFC matches is usually available at all the best MMA betting sites in the UK. You have to be quick though to get your UFC live betting wagers on though, as MMA bouts are fierce and tend not to last long – it’s a maximum of three rounds of five minutes each (five rounds for title bouts), remember. This means that the maximum a UFC bout can go on for is fifteen minutes.
To place a UFC live bet you need to visit one of the sites on our top UFC betting sites list and look at the live betting options. You need to be quick of course, as the odds and possible bets will change constantly in line with the live event.
One thing you will not find at even the best betting sites for UFC is UFC live streaming. As of 2023, all live UFC events are broadcast on TNT Sports. You may need to pay extra to watch the main UFC bouts even if you have a TNT Sports subscription. In addition, you can pay to stream UFC fights online, either on a per-event basis or with a fight pass, which is a subscription service for multiple UFC events.
Some bookies (although very, very few) may stream Oktagon events, but main bouts are broadcast in the UK on Channel 4. You can also watch Oktagon events online, but not at online bookmakers.

All UFC and MMA betting markets will be available on mobile apps offered by UK sportsbooks alongside their desktop site offerings. If you prefer to bet using your phone or tablet (and who doesn’t?), then you will not encounter any issues.
All UK UFC betting sites can be viewed via a mobile browser on any iOS or Android-powered phone or tablet. Many sites now offer UFC betting apps that can be downloaded and installed on your devices. This is the route we recommend as downloadable apps give a better all-round experience for betting on mobile than browser-based ones.
Sadly, you won’t receive any benefits other than convenience for using a betting app, or mobile-optimised betting site. Additionally, UFC live streaming is not available from either due to the UFC’s deal with TNT Sports and its PPV nature.
If you are accustomed to any form of combat sport, then there are no specific terms you need to learn to understand MMA and UFC. We have though, put together a quick glossary to make sure you understand any UFC or MMA-related terms you may not be familiar with.
