Here, we throw the spotlight on the best Trustly betting sites in the UK. All of the sites featured on this page accept payments via the instant online banking service Trustly.
Let’s now take a brief look at the top five betting sites with Trustly in the UK and why you should consider using them.
You’ve seen our hand-picked list, so let’s now go through the finer points of the best Trustly betting sites in the UK.
Bet365 should need absolutely no introduction to UK betting fans. It is the biggest betting site in the UK, and as many will ascertain, it’s among the best. This online bookie has more events to bet on than most other betting sites and plenty of promotions, too. It also has the great feature of paying out early on a number of markets, such as when your backed side goes two goals up in a football match. The insipid, little-changing design lets it down a little, but other than that, bet365 is virtually perfect.
In terms of Trustly, bet365 allows single deposits from £5 up to a maximum of £25,000 per transaction. All deposits are instant, and you will incur zero fees. Bet365 says it allows Trustly withdrawals, too, although this is slightly disingenuous. Instead, your withdrawal will be placed back into the bank account you made your Trustly deposit from via an instant bank transfer. Alternative payment methods at bet365 include debit cards, ApplePay and Google Pay.

Luckster is a betting site with a distinctly Irish theme. This is odd, as it is owned by Marketplay, a company based in Malta. It is one of a small number of sites owned by Marketplay, and they all run using the supremely comprehensive sports betting platform developed by AspireGlobal. This sports betting site is another with a huge selection of markets, with almost every sport you can possibly think of covered. It also is probably the best sports betting site in the UK for eSports.
Luckster does not discuss Trustly in great depth other than saying that it’s an accepted payment method. The minimum accepted deposit is £10, and there is no maximum listed. You cannot withdraw via Trustly, so you will have to select a different method for cashing out. If you have only deposited at the site with Trustly, then your withdrawal will be processed via a wire transfer, with the minimum withdrawal also being £10. Withdrawals can take up to five business days to process.

10bet is a betting site with a longer history than most people realise, having been around since 2003. It underwent a significant rebranding in 2019, winning awards in the process, and began to make serious inroads within the UK market. The 10bet name even appeared on the shirts of EFL sides Blackburn Rovers and West Bromwich Albion for a season apiece. 10bet now offers a comprehensive sportsbook that emphasises football, horse racing and tennis, but also offers markets on plenty of other sports, including eSports.
10bet is also an international site which means it is more likely to offer a greater range of payment options, which indeed it does, including Trustly. All Trustly deposits are processed instantly at 10bet, with no fee being involved. The minimum accepted deposit amount is £10, and other accepted payment methods include debit cards, Skrill and Neteller plus you can list 10bet among the betting sites that accept PayPal. The site says it processes Trustly withdrawals but actually withdrawals are done via a fast bank transfer back to the account from which you made your Trustly deposit.

Just like bet365, William Hill is a name that should need absolutely no introduction to UK punters. The company was founded in 1934 as a betting club for the upper classes, but has expanded greatly since the 1970s to become one of the UK’s most well-known bookmakers both online and on UK high streets. This site is famed for concentrating on horse racing betting but also offers markets on just about everything. It is also renowned for its ‘enhanced odds’, which offer better than normal prices on a selection of pre-selected combos, bet builders and single bets for the day’s top events.
William Hill joins our list of betting sites with Trustly, although some punters may be less than delighted to find a few geographical restrictions in place. No need to worry, though, as the site also accepts debit cards, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller and plenty of others. The minimum deposit accepted is a tenner, and deposit restrictions do apply. You can also use the William Hill Plus card, app and site to manage both your online and IRL William Hill betting.

In all honesty, we have had to dig deep to find enough Trustly sports betting sites in the UK to fill even our top five. Although convenient, Trustly is simply not as common a payments system as (in the UK at least), for example, debit cards, PayPal or other eWallets. DAZN Bet, though, is a decent-enough site that ought to get more coverage in the UK than it currently does. Its current understated status is perhaps because it only launched in the UK in the summer of 2022 as an off-shoot of the popular sports entertainment platform.
DAZN as a platform concentrates on popular US sports such as NFL and UFC, but the coverage at DAZN Bet is much more comprehensive. DAZN Bet knows that UK punters focus on football betting and horse racing, which is where the DAZN Bet coverage is centred too. The site offers a good range of horse racing specials such as combo bets for enhanced odds, and daily bet boosts which are pre-defined combos that come with odds better than you would normally expect.

Trustly was set up in Stockholm, Sweden in 2008. Initially, just for Swedish markets, the company is now truly global and has agreements with over 12,000 banks worldwide. It is used by many major companies, including PayPal, eBay and Facebook.
Trustly acts as a conduit between a commodities or services provider and a customer’s bank. Should your bank have an agreement with Trustly, and the bank has internet payment tools, then payments can be made directly from the customer’s bank.
If you select Trustly to make a payment to an online sports betting site, then Trustly will open a portal to your online banking service, which you can log on to as if you were using the service directly. If all your credentials are correct, your deposit will be taken directly from your bank account and to your online sports betting site account.
Trustly does not charge fees for the use of its services, instead it charges banks and providers. If you are charged a fee for using this service at Trustly gambling sites, then it is the site that is adding the charge, not Trustly themselves.
Honesty is one of our core beliefs at Safest Betting Sites and to be honest here, it was more a case of finding top Trustly Betting Sites UK as opposed to evaluating them. However, that did not mean we simply included a betting site for the single criteria of it accepting Trustly as a payment method. Our betting experts use rating criteria when we are deciding which site to include, and it’s how we come up with our unbiased reviews.
The top factors – aside from offering Trustly as a deposit option – included the number of markets offered, the ease of use of the sports betting software and the appearance of other key features such as live streaming and in-play betting. We also look at bonuses, promotions and positive offers such as enhanced odds, as detailed in our page on How We Rate Bookmakers.
Finally, we evaluate everything that we feel any decent betting site needs, such as a good range of payment options, security protocols in place, and excellent customer support.
There is always a tiny amount of risk when using online accounts such as PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, or a debit card. It is extremely unlikely, but there is always the chance of your data falling into the wrong hands or your banking information being compromised. You may also be the victim of phishing—fake emails sent purporting to be from, say, PayPal asking you to confirm your login information (i.e., username and password). You may unwillingly lose access to your account.
Using betting sites that use Trustly negates this risk, as there’s no such thing as a Trustly account. Trustly simply links your bank to the site at which you are making a payment and uses your existing banking security protocols to confirm your deposit. As there is no need to use an email address when using this service at Trustly gambling sites, Trustly will never send you emails. Therefore, if you receive an email from Trustly saying it needs sensitive security information, you will know it’s a scam!
It’s very easy to make a deposit at Trustly bookmakers, and we are going to take you though the process, step by step.
We feel we have already addressed the main limitation of using Trustly for betting – the stark lack of betting sites that accept Trustly as a payment method! Although Trustly is a global brand, it has yet to really make its mark in the UK arena, and has fallen far behind two similar services that can link your bank account (or at least the debit card issued by your bank) to a betting site – ApplePay and Google Pay.
In addition, you can’t really make Trustly withdrawals. Some bookmakers that accept Trustly for withdrawals will just use your bank account details to transfer money back to you, which can be a slow process, taking up to five days.
Finally, deposits made using Trustly may not be eligible for welcome bonuses and other favourable customer deals. If you are making a deposit in order to qualify for a bonus, always make sure you check the T&Cs so you understand which payment methods for deposits are permitted.
If you don’t want to make a deposit at betting sites that use Trustly, then don’t worry. There are plenty of other payment methods available, as detailed on the pages below.
Trustly may be a global payments leader, but it has yet to become a popular payment method in the UK. Despite this, it is still a quick, convenient, and safe way to make deposits at the small number of UK betting sites where it is accepted.
